I’m Often Asked Why…
“The Woman’s Touch?”
Many years ago, The Woman’s Touch began as my vehicle valeting company.
But it soon became apparent that I was spending far more time behind the wheel, driving other companies’ lorries, than I was valeting them!
So I thought, why drive everybody else’s lorries
when I could buy my own?
And that’s exactly what I did.
The Woman’s Touch grew from there and,
before long, became a real family business. My older children and their partners all became involved, proudly flying the flag for
The Woman’s Touch alongside me.
Over the years, as happens with every family, the children grew up, lives changed and everyone gradually followed their own path.
But The Woman’s Touch has remained a very special part of our story.
Today, life looks rather different...
Now it’s just Andy, Baby Cherry and me — surrounded by our
animals, making memories and enjoying the good life.
And after all these years, there’s still a little bit of
The Woman’s Touch in everything I do. ❤️

My Dogs, My Lorries, My Life
I adore my dogs, and I have always had a passion for my
lorries. They may seem like two very different worlds, but to me they are both simply part of who I am.
My lorries gave me freedom, independence and some
incredible memories over the years. There was nothing
quite like climbing into my own cab, starting that engine and heading out on the open road — proudly flying the flag for The Woman’s Touch.
Today, I no longer own my own lorries, and I have to admit, that is something I find incredibly sad. I miss them. I miss the sound, the freedom, the pride of seeing my own lorry on the road and knowing just how hard I had worked to
achieve it.
But those years will always be part of me. You can sell the lorries, but you can never take the lorry driver out of the woman!
And then there are my dogs...
Our hearts beat with the same rhythm, and our veins carry the same love.
They share my home, my days, my adventures and my heart. They aren't something separate from my life — they are my life.
Whether remembering the years behind the wheel of my own lorries or looking around today at the dogs I adore, I realise how fortunate I have been to spend my life doing the things I truly love.
**My lorries gave me the road.
My dogs have my heart.
Both will always be part of who I am.**
There is no difference between their life and mine.
We are one and the same.
